Hey, I’m Eric Rosener —

I also go by Eric Spoke or Floppin’ around Front Man of award-winning band, Overshare. In 2019, I graduated from MediaTech in 2019 with an audio engineering degree. I had the honor as an apprentice to member of the Latin Grammy Committee, Francisco Benvenuto — who himself, was trained by Scott Storch.

I have spent 4+ years working in studios tracking and mixing, but the entirety of my music career began closer to a decade ago with a computer, beat machine and a dream.

A few accolades (aka the mustard): Dallas Entertainment Award Nominated 2023 & 2024 | Tito’s Vodka & Hopdoddy Tuned-In Grant Program $10,000 winner in November of 2023 | Partnered with Mental Health of America in November 2024

+ more cool things, just ask.

The band’s debut single “Flaws” features Eric delivering his signature rap-singing vocals over a groovy bass-line as he opens up about his bipolar disorder and “hypomanic super problems.” In “Prison,” he feels trapped in love, wanting to “escape when no one’s looking.” Since its genesis, Overshare has undergone a few lineup changes, originally launching as a duo consisting of Eric and former bassist Connor Cameron. But as a full band with the current lineup, there’s a dynamic and improved aural chemistry that makes for a bonding experience between the band and audience. The raw, unfiltered emotions in each song’s lyrics paired with fun, melodious instrumentals prove cathartic for both the band and the listeners. Their debut album "Overstimulated" released September 13, 2024, with the song "I'm Sad" achieving nearly 25,000 streams the first month, and the album as a whole receiving praise from outlets such as The Dallas Observer, the I'm a Fan Of podcast, and several European publications. Recently, in an attempt to give back to the community, Overshare has become a partner of Mental Health America of Greater Dallas, performing at events and helping give visibility to their events and cause.
